World Oceans Day was celebrated at UNESCO Headquarters on Wednesday 8 June during the session of the Executive Council. The IOC Roger Revelle memorial lecture 2016 was delivered by Prof. Kenneth Caldeira on the topic of Ocean acidification as part of the WOD programme. See the programme on the WOD webpage.
